If you love photobooks and photography exhibitions, this is the kind of place you can step into for 10 minutes… and accidentally stay for an hour. The Book End focuses on thoughtfully curated titles (especially photography and art), and pairs part of the selection with exhibition programming in its small but accessible gallery space.

The Book End is on the third floor of the wonderful Meiji-era Kaigan Building, whose architecture is worth going out of your way to experience. Its sharp symmetrical interior lines and brooding atmosphere make for a memorable spot.
